Clematis Street is downtown West Palm Beach at its oldest and busiest: a run of bars, restaurants and small storefronts falling east toward the waterfront and the Great Lawn. It is louder and younger than anything across the water on the island, and it is where most of the county goes out on a Friday.
The distance from Miami International is about 66 miles, typically 65 to 95 minutes. Drivers run I-95 north and exit at Okeechobee Boulevard, then work into the downtown grid. The last few blocks are the slow part rather than the highway, particularly on event nights at the amphitheatre or when the Sunday green market is breaking down along the waterfront.

Name the hotel when you book and the driver will use the correct entrance; on nights when Clematis is closed to traffic for an event, that also means a drop on the nearest open cross street rather than a long wait at a barrier.
